At Jo Richardson Community School, we take pride in our commitment to supporting students with English as an Additional Language (EAL). Many of our students speak multiple languages at home and school. Our dedicated EAL and Community Languages team is here to ensure a smooth transition for those who are new to English. We understand the importance of personalised attention, which is why we host regular weekly intervention sessions in reading, writing and speaking skills. These sessions provide a supportive space for students to build language skills, ask questions, and connect with their peers. Our goal is success for all. We do this by fostering a nurturing environment where every student feels empowered to excel in their studies and embrace the richness of language diversity.
