On Wednesday 30^th June four Year 7 students were selected to represent Barking and Dagenham at this year’s district finals in Chelmsford.

The four students were Anacleto (1500m), Ehizojie (100m), Ehizele (200m)and Liliany (Long jump). All four students performed fantastically and fought hard in their individual events.  Outstanding performances go to Ehizojie who is now Essex 100m champion as he came 1^st with a time of 12.96 seconds and Ehizele who came 4^th in the 200m with a time of 27 seconds.  A great achievement for all four students.  These students will also go on to represent JRCS in the indoor athletics championship in October.  Well done!
