We have been celebrating the significant contribution Black artists make to the art and design world globally by displaying the work of a chosen Black artist for each day of the month down the art corridor.

We have chosen artists from the past and present with a particular emphasis upon Black British artists. Students and staff have been commenting on the diversity of the examples on display and have become aware of artists that were previously unknown to them.

This display is a celebration, showcasing the amazing work of Black artists from around the world.
