In 7G we have created a ‘Character Tree’ which is all about success for all and team growth. All achievements are recorded by adding a special leaf onto our tree with the appropriate information of achievement, whether big or small, this helps our tree grow. Some of the ACHIEVEments recorded have been from LOCs from all subject areas to simply just being of good help and support to one another. We also take the 5 R’s (Respect, Responsibility, Resourcefulness, Resilience and Reflection) into consideration (whether they are being met) and the students can also recommend one of their peers for something they perceive as an achievement. Everyone within our form group has the opportunity to have their achievement put up on the special leaf then onto our ever-growing tree.
