This Monday I attended a skills workshop, I wanted to learn more about being a part of project management. I was surprised to find out this opportunity would make me interested in the construction industry. There were four visitors from Gardiner and Theobald, an independent construction and property consultancy.

During this workshop, the visitors taught us different skills which would help in future interviews and careers. We were shown the best methods of presenting ourselves to interviewers and how to be the best candidate they see.

One of the activities was a presentation in groups. This was a good activity as it was helpful to receive feedback from professionals who have been in the industry for a while. I am glad I came to this workshop as it broadened my understanding of the range of jobs there are at firms, and what different jobs are available.
