15 Dec GCSE Citizenship Theme E Action Success
Well done!
Congratulations to Hallie, Layla, Shalewa, Lacey and Hanna on meeting and interviewing Margaret Hodge (Barking MP) as part of their GCSE Citizenship Theme E Action.
These students independently emailed Margaret Hodge and arranged a slot to interview her about their concerns on youth crime in Barking and Dagenham and concerns on human trafficking in the UK. They confidently interviewed and justified their concerns regarding their topic and expressed ways to improve or deal with these issues.
They challenged and explored the Labour party’s perspective on these issues and had a real opportunity to explore the role of an MP and raise any other local concerns.
Well done- You all did yourself, the PDE department and JRCS proud.
