Last week saw every Year 8 tutor group participate in a Handball knock out tournament which was hosted in the Sports Hall each lunchtime.

The matches lasted 8 minutes and forms were eliminated after each round leading to a semi-final on Thursday which involved 8J vs 8E and 8H vs 8G. There was lots of support from students and the Year 8 tutor team and some really exciting matches were played.  The final was 8E vs 8G and was a fierce contest between the two forms.  It was 2 all in the closing seconds and Ade from 8G scored the winner in the last few seconds to clinch the victory for 8G.

Thank you to all students and staff who supported the event and good luck to the Year 8 boys and girls who have been selected to represent the school in the Borough Handball competition at Goresbrook school this week.
