During the last week of term, the Sixth Form BTEC Business students worked with the Business Department to bring an exciting ice skating rink to Jo Richardson. The challenge of arranging such an event was immense. The students arranged delivery of the rink as well as creating posters and tickets for sale. Miss Wright, the Head of Business, was particularly impressed with the hard work from the Sixth Form BTEC Business students who were so keen to offer a high quality event to the other students in the school. Even more impressive was the fact this event was organised in conjunction with the Winter Fair and the lower school Christmas Disco.

All events were organised as part of the level 3 BTEC Business course. Miss Wright would like to congratulate Year 12 BTEC Business on their successful events and also particularly thank Eneida Mazreku, Demi Thomas, Lauren Toms, Gabriele Sartauskaite and Safia Essa all from Year 13 BTEC Business, for helping her sell tickets and manage the ice skating.  They weren’t being assessed, but were happy to help.
