Our final full day Berlin involved a visit to the leafy suburb of Wannsee where in a villa, senior Nazis made the decision for the final extermination of the Jews of Europe. Later that day we visited the East Side Gallery where the biggest stretch of the Berlin Wall is where artists showcase their work. The famous ‘Socialist Fraternity’ piece is an iconic landmark in Berlin showing the historical significance of Berlin’s communist past. Today we fly home – Auf Wiedersehen!
