27 Sep JRCS joins Global Day of Action against Climate Change
Students dropped a banner over Buck Bridge
On Friday a group of students lead JRCS in Action Against Climate Change. This was part of the International Global Climate Change demonstrations and these students joined millions of people in 188 countries around the world to raise awareness of the urgent need to take action to stop climate change. At lunchtime the students dropped a banner over Buck Bridge and lead a chant “Save the Planet”, then walked around school gathering like minded students worried about the planets future. The students have now formed the JRCS Environmental Action Group and plan to organise other activities to raise awareness about Green Issues.
