19 Jan LSE Promoting Potential
Year 8 Boys
I am delighted to share the news that JRCS has been offered the opportunity to put forward four Year 8 students for another university programme! This is with the London School of Economics and Political Science and this includes a Spring School during Easter break with lectures, workshops and opportunities to meet like-minded individuals from the University.
The programme will teach the students about the opportunities available at university and the potential subjects they can study. A small group of eight students were identified as eligible for applying for the programme. The following completed the first round application:
Nathan Osayiwu (8E), Philip Adu (8D), Michel McDanart (8J), Paulos Haile (8H), Daniel Oduniyi (8H), Mayowa Ogundele (8I) and Charles Adenuga (8C).
From this small group, four students have been chosen due their excellent applications in order to move forwards to the next stage. This stage involves applying to the university using their detailed application form. Those students who have been chosen are pictured on the front page.
Well done to all of the boys who applied, they will all be receiving an LOC for Aspiring to be their best!
