Lucas in Year 7 has recently won not one, but two, medals for controlled fighting in the Hwa Rang World Tang Soo Do Federation Sparring.
This is a controlled fighting competition where you compete in a ring for points; those with the most points win. Lucas achieved second place in the weapons round where he used a long wooden stick.
The other competitors were tough and had travelled to Nottingham, where the competition was, from Wales, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and many more countries!
We want to say a huge well done to Lucas for this great achievement – keep up the discipline!
