15 Nov Parliament Week
The Year 13 politics class all contributed to the assembly.
A Level Politics students took part in the national Parliament Week this year. In assemblies in Boothroyd Hall students from all year groups were told about our link with Betty Boothroyd, former Speaker of the House of Commons, who opened our school in 2002. The assembly was on the day that the newest Speaker was elected. The Year 13 politics class all contributed to the assembly. They wanted to celebrate the good things about our democracy, even though there are some difficulties at the moment.
Thanks.
