18 Oct Photography Club Workshop
Well done!
Last Thursday the photography club members were treated to a visit from Lewis Greener, a fine art photographer who introduced them to a very old method of capturing images on UV light sensitive paper. The photogram images look like old cyanotypes (blue tinted pictures) and the students were able to explore large negatives and text on acetates, as well as an array of materials with different properties to see how these would expose the paper.
The artist is currently working for Green Shoes Arts in collaboration with Valence House and will offer more free workshops in the coming weeks. You can sign up your interest in drama and photography workshops coming up at Valence House. Please ask Ms Franz for more info!
