Our results this year were excellent again!
Welcome to all our Sixth Formers. Our results this year were excellent again and most of our Year 13 students have secured university places. Others are in training or employment. Congratulations to them all!
Year 13s have made great progress with their university research and tutor time and lessons get underway on Monday 11th September.
In order to support our Year 13 students we are holding a meeting for parents to find out more about university applications and other opportunities. This is at 6.00pm on Tuesday 19th September. We look forward to seeing you there.
Year 12 students also start at JRCS on Monday and we are looking forward to welcoming them. On Tuesday 12th September there is an evening meeting for parents of Year 12 students. This will start at 6.00pm and we would be delighted to see you there.
Transition Week in July is a busy week for our Year 12’s. It includes a visit to the University of Essex, workshops on budgeting and cooking, time to research careers and universities and completing UCAS application forms. Our focus on supporting these students as they plan for Post 18 continues in September. Parents of Year 13’s are invited to our HE and Post 18 evening on Tuesday 19th September to find out more about the students’ next steps.
