28 Sep Stacey’s Jack Petchey Award
Well Done Stacey!
I achieved the Jack Petchey Award by going to a club called ARC Raised Voices at:
The Arc Theatre. In the group we make short films that go on YouTube and can be seen by anyone. It is an all-girl group. The films are about things like F.G.M and C.S.E as well as many other subjects. The reason we make these films is to raise awareness about these issues. Anyone is welcome to come.
The Jack Petchey event was really fun; there was music playing and everyone got their moment in the spotlight. There were many different groups of people including netball clubs, cricket clubs, swimmers, farmers and many more. What happens is you go up there with the rest of your group but your names get called one by one when you go up you receive your medal and take a photo with the important person. The photos are put on the website.
