06 Sep The JRCS Apprentice 2024 Winner Revealed
Congratulations!
At the end of the last academic year, we saw our former Year 10 students go head-to-head in a range of enterprise activities each week.
This was an amazing opportunity for Year 10 students to get their hands into some practical business tasks. The Business Team and many other staff members around the school were blown away by the professionalism, effort and determination all candidates showed and I just want to personally say thank you to everyone who took part or contributed to make the process what is was, particularly the Year 12 BTEC students who gave up a lot of their free time to produce the episodes and work with the candidates.
In the final task, our finalists Tairelle, Luke, Hafiza and Ope all had to pitch their business idea for a regular stall that they can run throughout the year to some very excited year 7s. Tairelle with his milkshakes, Luke had his freshly squeezed juice and Hafiza and Ope with stationery.
All students did extremely well but there was one clear winner for Lord Lungley to hire…………………..
Congratulations to *LUKE*
Well done to Tairelle who came in close second and also shone throughout the process.
We will now see Luke set up and operate his stall over the coming year…. watch this space.
