14 Jan The RPSCA Bake Sale- we’re back!
Well done!
We are holding a bake sale for the RSPCA, which stands for Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) and they have been here for animals since 1824. We are doing this for our Duke of Edinburgh award.
We sold handmade sausage rolls, buttery shortbread biscuits, chocolate butterfly cakes and had a guess the sweets in the jar competition. The competition was won by Aiden in Year 9 and Daniels in Year 10.
We made over £40 for the RSPCA which will be used to help animals in need. Thank you to everybody who bought something. We are hoping to raise more money this half term.
The bake sale will be returning on Friday 14th January at 1:30 – 2:00pm in Main Street (near the egg). It will be every week until February half term. We hope we see you there.
If you really loved what we were selling every Friday, then we can still bake.
We would also like new suggestions of what we should bake next.
We could carry on making sausage rolls and chocolate cakes or new ideas for example cookies.
