Trewern 2025 – Day 3

What brilliant weather we had today! We have had an excellent time gorge walking, canoeing, and caving today!

We were able to all complete the letter box in caving today and slid on our bellies to see amazing things like Gary the gastropod in the cave ! We enjoyed seeing the stalactites and stalagmites and I was really impressed with all the student’s helpful nature and encouragement of one another.

The canoeists came back beaming they had the sun out for them today and all students had paddled along the biggest canal in the Wales. Some students even had the opportunity to take a dip in the end which was a bit chilly but woke the students up!

The gorge walkers got to go to the farm as well and were able to sit on the digger and the quad bike in the farm. They also tried the home-made apple juice which was delicious!

The gorge walkers had fun on the slides in the river and putting their head under the waterfalls.
