Trewern 2025 – Day 4

We have had an exciting and brilliant day ! It was amazing weather today we brought the sun with us from Dagenham.

One of our groups went gorge walking and had the opportunity to go through a disused train tunnel, they faced their fears and managed to walk through in the dark. They had to communicate with each other and coach each other thru. They then slid down slopes along the river and had an amazing photographer.

Another of our groups did canoeing and some splashing in the river wye the fourth largest river in the UK. They had a race and were able to stand on the boats and swap seats.

Finally, our last group got to visit the big pit and experienced what it was like in the mines. They had a great time and got to learn about the history of  mining in Wales. They also visited keepers pond and had a great view to look at.
