25 Mar U14 Borough Netball Rally
Well done!
The Year 9 netball team represented JRCS at the U14 Netball Rally at Riverside school on Tuesday 22nd March. Despite improving significantly throughout the season, they went into the tournament without a single win all season. However, our fortunes changes in the first match which we won 2-0 against Goresbrook.
We then suffered a 3-1 defeat to Eastbrook in the second match, who fielded a strong side having won the borough league. We won our last game convincingly against Warren 6-1. However this was not enough to progress out of the pool stages and into the semi-finals.
A big well done to all the girls involved who have shown commitment to training and competitive matches all season. I look forward to coaching this team again in Year 10 and hope the summer pre-season training helps us to secure more wins next year!
