03 Mar Year 10 GCSE PE Trewern Trip
18 Year 10 GCSE PE students went to Trewern
Last week we took 18 Year 10 GCSE PE students to Trewern to participate in outdoor activities that would go towards their GCSE practical grade. It was a very demanding week for the students as they had to learn new skills in a very short space of time and then use these skills in unfamiliar environments. Everyone worked extremely hard and it was great to see students who started the week with little knowledge on climbing, orienteering and archery turn into experts as they climbed down the side of a mountain, navigated their way through a forest and hit the bullseye on an archery board. All the students should be very proud of their achievements.
Well done everyone!
