We are holding a parent/carer information evening on Tuesday 20^th September from 5.30pm-6.30pm.in Boothroyd Hall for parents/carers of Year 12 students.

The purpose of the evening is to provide parents/carers with key information that will help your son / daughter make the best possible start to Year 12 and enable both you and them to prepare accordingly:

• Expectations: Information relating to the essential habits that students need to adopt from the beginning of Year 12 including organisation, routines, and expectations
• Assessment: Information on how students will be assessed and how we measure and report progress
• Advice for parents/carers: Guidance on things that you can do to help your son / daughter in meeting the challenges of starting KS5 to ensure they achieve their best.

There will also be a chance for parents/carers to meet form tutors and Miss Duncan Head of Year, to find out how students have settled and an opportunity for parents to relay any information that they feel we should know about their child to better support them.
