30 Jun Year 13 Bow out in STYLE!
Goodluck!
Year 13 pulled the curtain down on their journeys with JRCS on Monday night during their leavers’ boat party.
Having travelled there in style on traditional double decker buses, the students embarked to a reception drink and an evening of memories, fun, laughter, photo booth posing and dancing.
London gave them a great farewell with wonderful weather, and as the light faded London lights lit up their Thames adventure.
I am immensely proud of them as a year group; they have got on with the academic and subject demands throughout the two years in Sixth Form. We have some outstanding BTEC & CTEC results already in and await the A Level results in August.
As a year group they are polite, courteous, and caring. They have a sense of identity and look after each other. Seeing them on Monday night it was evident that they will confidently make their way on the next stretch of their life’s journey via university, apprenticeship, and work. They will capture people’s attention; their characters and work ethos will capture people’s admiration. I have no doubt we have a cohort that will go out and make a positive difference in the world.
My warmest wishes, sense of pride and belief travels with them for their journeys.
Miss Campbell
Deputy Director of Sixth Form
Head of Year 13
