On Monday 25^th June the Year 7 and 8 athletics teams represented JRCS at this years Borough Athletic Competition.  Despite the very hot conditions all four teams put in an amazing performance and 100% effort.  A special mention goes to the Year 7 girls relay team who came 2^nd  across the whole borough and Charlie Richardson in Year 8 who beat the schools 100m record.

Overall results out of 12 schools –

Year 7 Boys- 5^th – Year 7 Girls- 6^th

Year 8 Girls 4^th – Year 8 Boys- 4^th

Thank you to all students who took part and indoor athletics will resume in September.
