16 Mar Year 7 and 8 trip to Trewern
A group of 30 Year 8 and 9 students visited Trewern Outdoor Education Centre in Hay-On-Wye last week (5th – 9th March).
Their goals were to develop the skills of team-working, independence and resilience, as well as having a lot of fun!
Each day the students took part in activities such as, caving, canoeing, mountain walking and climbing. The heavy snows the previous week added an extra challenge to their week and students ably took on these challenges despite some nervousness.
Students also visited a local sheep farmer and saw lambs being born, as well as visiting a bookshop in Hay-On-Wye, for which they were commended for their enthusiasm and politeness.
