Some of the Year 7 boys football team took part in a 5-a-side tournament at Goresbrook School last week. Winning 3 out of 3 in their group games against Riverside, Goresbrook and All Saints. After progressing to the semi-finals to face Barking Abbey they conceded 2 goals early on. Despite their hard work and resilience, the boys were beaten 4-3 after having 2 goals disallowed in the late stages of the game. In the 3^rd – 4^th place play-off, the boys beat Eastbury to secure 3^rd place. Riverside went on to win the Tournament. Congratulations to the boys for their efforts.
