Year 9 History reward trip to the Imperial War Museum

On Friday 16^th June, a group of 28 Year 9 students visited the Imperial War Museum’s newly refurbished Holocaust Exhibition. The visit included a pre seminar led by one of the museum’s experts and then a 1.5 hour visit to the Holocaust galleries. Armed with iPads the students were able to navigate the gallery and highlight certain objects that they found interesting. This was then followed by a 30 minute post seminar which analysed the students’ findings.

The staff at the Imperial War Museum commented on the excellent knowledge the students possessed and their enthusiasm for the exhibition.
