First Day on the Mountain

Today we had very busy day, we woke up at 7am to eat breakfast and be ready to start our lesson at 9.30 in Zauchensee. We woke up to heavy rain so were not sure how our day was going to be, but as we drove up the mountain the rain started to become snow, so the mood picked up.

When we came out of the underground parking, ready for our lessons with full kit on we were welcomed to the slope by our three instructors and huge snowflakes coming down. We then split into three different groups depending on skiing ability. We had five hours of lessons with a one hour break for lunch.

When we come back to the hotel we had a little pool time, followed by the dinner and quiz night.

We had a fantastic day and all of us made ski progress throughout the day and are looking forward to getting back up the mountain tomorrow…
