25 Aug GCSE Results 2016
This year’s GCSE results at JRCS are our best ever, with 64% of students (up 9% on last year’s results) achieving five A*-C including English and Maths. We are extremely proud of all our Year 11 students who were a fantastic, hardworking year group and thoroughly deserve the success that they are now enjoying.
There were a number of highly impressive individual performances, led by Moyin Adetoye who achieved 10 A*s in her GCSEs, the highest total gained by any JRCS student ever. She was closely followed by Jessica Idahosa, with 7 A*s, 2 As and 1 B, and Abigail Hall with 5 A*s, 5 As and 1 B. Many of our Year 11 students will be joining us in the Sixth Form and we look forward to celebrating their results again in two years’ time.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all the JRCS staff and parents, who have supported all our students in achieving such impressive results.
