24 Aug JRCS Best Ever KS5 Results
Yet again we are delighted with the results of our students. We have improved our results from the high standards of previous years. With our best ever A* – C and A* – B percentages, Jo Richardson Community School continues to be highly successful. We enjoy working within the Southern Consortium which has had another year to be proud of.
Many students have gained the very highest grades of A*, Distinction* and A. Our former head boy and head girl did very well. Korede Salami with AAA is going on to study medicine; Jay Batchelor gained AAB and is going to study economics, both at Russell Group universities (Imperial College, London and Warwick). Christian Smith is going to Coventry University with AAB; he is aiming to become a sociology teacher. Andrew Odame-Kwakye has been accepted by Bristol University to study Politics and International Relations with his grades AAB.
All our Health and Social Care students gained Di*Di*Di* (triple distinction star) which is an achievement we are very proud of. Students from that course are going on to study nursing, education and clinical psychology. Our Btec business students were also very successful with all grades Distinction or Distinction*.
We have a range of interesting university destinations with students going on to study a range of subjects including law, speech and language, fashion design, accounting, dance, international business. Other students have gained apprenticeships at TFL and Unilever, and within the finance and retail sectors. It is very exciting that our students go on to study or work in such a variety of arenas.
We wish all our leavers a happy, fulfilled and successful future.
