Day 4 – Today the students had a lovely stroll to Castell Beach for a day of Canoeing and Kayaking. Castell is one of the few natural beaches in the area. This made the paddle out to sea a greater experience. The students were able to get out of the canoes and swim around into a small cave were they had the experience of touching sea urchins.
Day 5 – Today we travelled to playa de d’ior to take a ride on the banana boats. There was only one boat ride who capsized, the other 3 groups managed to stay somewhat dry. While pupils rode the waves everyone else had a great time playing the infamous mass cricket!
Unfortunately in the afternoon, the skies opened and thunder storms hit at La Fosca Beach. The pupils were unable to go out snorkelling, but kept their head held high for the rest of the afternoon, despite getting soaked by the rain.
Once the weather had calmed, we took a trip back to playa de d’ior and had a McDonalds treat for Abibat’s and Alex’s birthday.
