We were woken up by howling monkeys. The aim of our day was to make sure all of the jobs were almost completed and we needed to give the children our gifts. We received a presentation from the school. We were sat down in chairs in front of the children, which were in lines. The children would take turns coming up to sing, dance and perform poems and reading them. The whole school sang their national anthem so we sang ours after. Then the teachers from their school sang to us and danced too. The head teacher gave us a nice speech thanking us for helping them and how grateful they were for us to come all the way from England to help them. Then we showed them a booklet that we have made which showed them London and England. Also it contained pictures of our teachers and our school, it showed how we got here and how long it took to get here. Then we taught them some English words and phrases, afterwards we played football and catch with them. We then proceeded to have lunch and carried on with our jobs of painting the bars and walls. We finished the day at half 2 and got back and got out jobs done, we got our jobs done quite quickly so we had a lot of time to relax and chill. We had a nice evening with a good meal which was pasta for dinner and we saw fireflies and more howling monkeys. Good luck to all of the future leaders and well done to all of the previous leaders.
